BookOfMatches.com is a confused, pathetic site that can’t actually do any of the things that it claims to do.
First of all, we have to be totally honest: this website is not actually what we would call a “scam.” That is, they don’t take your money in exchange for doing absolutely nothing, the way most sites do on the list of the worst hookup sites on the Internet.
For one thing, BookOfMatches.com is free. Actually free, not just “free trial” or “free to girls.” You won’t pay anything to join.
However, the list of things WRONG with this website is very extensive-and don’t forget that just because a website itself doesn’t scam you doesn’t mean that the members are so scrupulous!
So, what makes BookOfMatches.com totally not worth joining? Let’s take a look and find out.
You’ve heard before that you get what you pay for. On BookOfMatches.com, you don’t pay anything…and you don’t GET anything, so that definitely works out. This site was a massive disappointment. We were expecting to finally find a free site that was as worthwhile as the paid sites we like, and we were hoping that BookOfMatches.com would be the one.
Literally ten seconds was enough to show us how wrong we were.
When you first log on to BookOfMatches.com, you’ll see the problem. First of all, most profiles are not complete, and don’t even have pictures attached to the profiles. This is true for men and women.
The second thing you’ll notice is that of the people who DO have pictures up, it’s obvious that none of them put any thought into those pictures. All of them are grainy, low-light, unfocused, and obviously taken with cheap camera phones as selfies.
Basically, the quality of the photo shows you the quality of the girl. A fake photo means a fake girl, a low-res photo means a girl who doesn’t give a crap, and a high-fidelity photo means a high-quality girl. You want a girl that cares enough to look GOOD on a hookup website, and you won’t find any girl on BookOfMatches.com that respects herself that much.
Why We Believe BookOfMatches.com Is Not Legit
While BookOfMatches.com might not be charging exorbitant fees like some other sites (namely UpForIt.com and JustHookup.com), you’re definitely still in danger of losing your money-yes, even on a “free” site.
While BookOfMatches.com won’t charge you, you still have to deal with all the members on the website. Scammers LOVE free dating sites. They think free dating sites are the best ways to cast a wide net. It’s free for them to join, and they only have to get a few guys on the hook to make it worthwhile.
We sent out 900 emails on BookOfMatches.com. Yeah, we got ONE back, and we think that one was probably a mistake that she meant to send to someone else. There are NO girls on BookOfMatches.com that aren’t creepy, weird skanks that we refuse to email. We kept our standards, even if that meant we didn’t get laid at all on this site.
Is BookOfMatches.com a Scam: We Think So!
If you have a book of actual matches, you’ll have more fun lighting fires than you would on BookOfMatches.com. This website is just lazy, sleazy, and tired. If you can somehow have a good experience on here, you’re doing a way better job than we are-and trust us, that’s not likely to happen.
Should You Try Hooking Up Using BookOfMatches.com? Review Conclusion
Sometimes, you get what you pay for. That’s true on many middle-of-the-road dating websites, that charge a moderate fee and give you a modest product. It fortunately doesn’t fit for our number one website, SocialSex.com which charges a modest fee and gives you an awesome product.
However, it’s definitely the case for BookOfMatches.com. You get what you pay for, which is absolutely zilch. You won’t have fun, you won’t get a date, and you sure as hell won’t get laid. This is a pathetic website for sad people, and if you have any self-respect, you’ll stay away. Just because something is free doesn’t mean it’s worth your time, and BookOfMatches.com is definitely not worth anyone’s time.
